About Us.
Healthy Habits is a community-rooted movement making wellness make sense through fitness, nutrition, education, and mentorship. Guided by culturally relevant practices and community leadership, we are building healthier futures across generations, one program at a time. Healthy Habits is a registered Pennsylvania nonprofit (EIN: 33-4218571) and has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the IRS. Donations made now directly support our programs and may be tax-deductible once approval is finalized. As we grow, Healthy Habits plans to expand into financial health and literacy programming, further supporting the full circle of wellness for the communities we serve.

Our History
Healthy Habits began in 2021 as an initiative launched through our family’s training business, Coach Keem Fitness. What started as youth fitness challenges and family wellness sessions quickly grew into a broader movement. Blending exercise, nutrition, and mentorship to reach both children and seniors.
By 2022–2023, our impact expanded through student health coaching, youth fitness programs, and community-wide classes. As co-founders, we saw firsthand how wellness could change lives. Young people gaining confidence, families getting healthier, and communities connecting through culture and care.
In 2024, we partnered with Pittsburgh Public Schools and local organizations, officially launching our monthly Senior Wellness Program. These gatherings created space for older adults to move, connect, and thrive together.
By March 2025, Healthy Habits officially transitioned into a nonprofit organization, solidifying our foundation and expanding our reach. What began as a small initiative has grown into a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to making wellness make sense for generations to come.
